yes its true our leader and founder of maptical told me yesterday that he'll probably not map anymore as he has found love and its not me, i know im surprised aswell :p. but he is in love with a lady and is guna enjoy the other side of life, and when he tried to remove himself from the studio he couldn't lol as he is the founder and cannot be removed. so this might be the last time i would hear from goombus :(.

also the Mpanel has still not been fixed, i have no idea if they just ignored it because i havent had any signs of them doing anything but i'll try and update the studio as what i can do.

o yeh and welcome the new membeRS

Hey all the first News since 2 months ago. first of all i'm glad that most of you are active not justy active by mapping but talking and team working. thats what a majority of a studio is about which is team working,

Sidemenu
if you all look at the side menu to the left it has a majority of the information about the studio members and useful links to view this on the obstructive new User Control panel you will have to open the tab saying custom links i will be posting some useful site to help with mapping and if you have any you want to share tell me :).

Updates
now all you have to give me time to update the studio members for the sidemenu pics and maybe any news on the new Studio project because i yesterday formatted my Computer because Vista pissed me off for the last time >.< so give me time to update the page.

You may already know (directed at members of Maptical) that numerous member shave been kicked, but no need to get nervous no one else will. me and Goombus discussed thoroughly on who has been inactive and we decided i am saying this just to let you know that you don't need to get nervous and panic and make a heck load of maps because you have already showed your contribution and remember have fun. and Map For Fun.

Also this means now there are 5 open slots so if your are not a member and are reading this you might have a chane of getting in. to get in you have to have had at least made a map and currently working on a map is a good point aswell but is not forced. remember only join if you are going to be active.

A Suggestion

Good evening members it has come to me that the way you get paid isn't "fair" in some context so i would like to know how you would like to get paid for every map you release or a monthly pay etc. currently we are using The Pay System and i'm not sure if you are aware of the rule so any suggestion please could you post them here or on The Pay System board.

If any of you know anyone who is a good mapper please invite them and tll them to post an application on our Board and their application would be discussed among members, or if your interested yourself (directed at non-members) come and post an application on our Board your application will be discussed among members more so.

Heyho members, some updates to keep you going.

First of all Goombus has created a "Steam Community" so just follow this http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791429786781 some of you have had invitations the others i cant find on steam.

also would you please welcome to the studio CHIZBONE. Chizbone is a Naver Meaning he creates Nav files for maps, you can ask him if he would like to make a Nav for one of you maps or if the map looks really good he probably go and ask you.

The Thing
be on the lookout members for "The Thing" first the first thing you got to lookout for is a board about "The Thing" either me (Robot_Chicken) or Goombus will create this board.

More Updates to keep you updated:

First off, our "10" point donation for each map you release is being chopped and being replaced with every map you release that is classed as an expert map (at least 3 assessments) you will get a 25 point donation. We feel that this would give more of an encouragement to map for us.

NOTE*: Previous maps released before the new motivation rule classed under expert will not get an donation of "25" points.

Also most of you have already met out new members, but i'd like to give them a classic introduction. We have AngusMcalpine which has already created an expert ranked map and we are hoping he is motivated to map more for us. We have take-cover47 a new mapper but a very active one. Most of you have already met him. Be sure to give him help if he wants it. Last but not least we have Ryan s. We don't know how long Ryan would be with us but he is one of the best skilled surf mappers around. You may know ryan for creating Surf_Network and surf_fury. Please give the new members a warm welcome if you haven't already.

Last of all please be more active on our forums, we currently have a board (for members only) to give ideas on how we can improve our studio.

Here is some studio news to keep you updated

first things first please would you welcome our newest member Mastergun some of you already know hes joined and he would be a great part of the team. and for the record hes the first member to request to join.

also due to a recent poll which was "should Maptical do prefabs" the results came into yes...so Maptical members if your interested in doing some prefabs and don't know how browse through these tutorials.

also some of you may have already heard but not all, every map and NOW prefab you release under the studio you will get 10 points donated to you to get you more motivated to map.

The Studio Forums are now up and are open to the public with some only accessible to members if you want a board added just ask.

the idea of forums came from our poll since our poll is broken and there has been no attempt of anyone fixing it. the votes came in as yes

use of forums:

the use of the forums will make it easier for members to talk and ask other members with everyone knowing at once. it will give the members more accessibility to Maptical and hope it will make you more welcome.

you are happy to discuss your maps and wips also have ideas and requests for maps
