Fantastic skin- makes the ak feel like a carbine first and an assault rifle second, which, in my opinion, is how the ingame ak SHOULD feel.
This skin makes a headshot twice as satisfying- thank you.

Great model, although I would like to point this out:

The original picture was NOT an AK47. It was a Dragunov SVD with an AKM stock/grip, a higher capacity mag made from 2 welded together, some makeshift barrel shroud along with an AKM upper handguard, an AKM grip attached on somehow, and the barrel hacked down to about an inch away from the gas tube.

Pros: The animations and texture are good. I like it.
Cons: The model is too low poly, it is like a cube.
Improvements: Put more details on the model, make it smoother
Notes: The origins of Mr Brightside anims are almost perfect, put it on the other anims =P.

To start things off the animation choice is highly welcomed especially with Defaults for those who prefer to have the Default anims. Even though, with the choices, I went straight for Brightside's animations and found the anims to fit in the game fairly well. One thing I really liked about the animation is that it doesn't hog the screen and the gun stays level.

The biggest gripe I have with the Custon Chenchen AK is the texture and it's lack of variation. Often your submissions come with a few choices in textures, but this time around we're stuck with just the one. The worn metal and somewhat strange looking wooden stock really hurts the skin visually. The various scratches and scrapes almost look too excessive even for a well used gun. Overall, the textures are well done, but the damage is just too much for me.

Maybe, I just don't have a thing for beat up guns? I wouldn't know, but visually it makes it look almost sloppy.
