Overall good tutorial, but you need to mention which version you are using, as I can tell you aren't using the released version, it doesn't have the buttons in edit mode. I had to get the beta build to have them.

Pros:
First of all, I must point out that you included the nav file, which is a very nice thing of you to do. :). After getting into the map, the very first thing I noticed was the sounds, I was like "Holy shit, I'm at a pool" pretty much. Your use of sound scapes is amazing, they are all in the perfect places, such as the pipe. The tunnel system looks realistic and natural, something I would expect to see in a high quality mod. The broken pipe was a nice little thing to put by the destroyed wall, it added a odd sense of realism to the map. And I also must congratulate you on the lighting. It feels sort of broken down, worn out, grungy. Which is exactly the theme this map needs.
Cons:
A main bad thing that I noticed was the bad transition on the walls from tile to plaster. It just looks really strange and unrealistic, it doesn't look like they put tile on the wall, but put a tile prefab over the wall. And while we are on walls, the ones in this map are simply boring, they are bland and unattractive in the destroyed sense of the word, they are too nice for the theme of the map. And when I looked up at the lighting, I saw the ugly florescent lights, they would have been fine, but you doubled them up, killing any realism that it had. Your map also has little to NO cover what so ever. With bots it came down to who could camp base longer. And your door ways were pretty boring, just blocks touching one another, like someone took a chainsaw and cut them out. It doesn't seem like they were meant to be there. And finally, one of the gates by an entrance to the tunnel was smaller than the hole, just looks odd.
Improvements:
You should put more cover in the map, a very small bit in the tunnels, but more around the pool and in the side halls. You should also add stuff to the top area so it doesn't feel bland, maybe some sort of platforms (Construction), or impassable debris. The pool should be deeper on one end, and once you do that I would lower the water so that the shallow end of the pool is above the water level. You could also add a diving board, or a broken diving board if you want ;). And where the debris in the pool is, you need to put a broken hole in the roof above that. So that it looks like it came from somewhere, rather than someone hauling it in.
Notes:
This is a really good map, with improvements it would be amazing. Good work, I can not wait to see more of your maps. (And I hope you do more stalker themed ones ;)).

Pros:
You made a very interesting layout, as far as places you can go is concerned. I really liked the fact that spawns are somewhat blocked off, but you can still get to them from the bottom. And I also was rather pleased by the style of the ramps in the center. I haven't seen that done before.
Cons:
This map is somewhat bland, no props in it, or nice architecture, just very blocky. The windows above spawn, and at spawn are higher up than the players eyes are, so one has to jump in order to see out them. You have some misaligned brushes, as well as textures by the spawns.
And you also have full bright, meaning no shadows. You need to add a Light_environment and a env_sun to the map to give it a better feel.
Improvements:

I would also suggest you put props in this map, as well as more walkways and things to get around the map on.
Notes:
Good map for a first, keep trying though. Mapping is tough to get into, but once you do you can make some amazing things.

fy_fireworld
Pros:
I like this map, the texturing on it is simply awesome. The fire is also a nice touch that I wouldn't have thought of. The door ways you made look sort of evil and Gothic almost. In sort, the general feel of the map fits the look and the desired feel.
Cons:
The fire pit areas look too blocky. And some of the smoke is gray while some is orange, so its just a little weird. Also, you have some misaligned textures by spawn, somewhat easy to notice. And the map is just generally too dark, its SO hard to see CT's
Improvements:
Add a wood or lava texture underneath the fire to make it look like somethings actually burning instead of just a random spurt of fire. You might also want to see what its like for the fire to border the entire map. I would also suggest you add some light entities to the lights around the map, and maybe give some of them a flicker. And just a suggestion for all maps you do, include a .nav file either in the bsp using packrat or in the rar file.
Notes:
Good map, this one is really cool. After some improvements I wouldn't be surprised to see this in many servers.

aim_ag_apollo_beta_1
Pros:
The buildings look amazing, they are all well made, and they fit in with the style. You have a great use of the textures available, and didn't use the "wall" or "hall" width dev textures that people usually use. The elevators are also a very nice touch to the map since they work so well.
Cons:
The doors at the spawns seem kind of boring compared to the rest of the map.
The elevator buttons work on the same level, IE, the elevator buttons on the top work for both sides.
Some brushes are misaligned by about 1 unit, its somewhat noticeable due to shadows.
The spiral stair case is a tad bit too high, and requires the player to jump to have to get on it.
One or 2 of the areas was way too dark and could have used some more lighting.
There is random brushes in some places, like by the exit to the tunnels from the ball.
Some ladders are invisible (Don't know if that's intentional).
You can get trapped behind the towers.
Improvements:
Fix pretty much what I said in the cons, also make there be a bit more cover, so its a tad more fun.
