WOW.
My total initial though of this map was just, wow!!
This looks like the coolest map to ever play on. Such an amazing atmoshere that you've created its mindblowing. Yellow and black are perfect colors for each other, and you use every drop of them in this it looks! this map eevn comes with a super sechseh matching skybox!

This map shows that mapping is truly an art. using this as an example it would be hard to give a comeback for anything.
Love the style, setting, flow, and rhythm of the map man. awesome awesome jo. added to one of my favorites =).

Maps > koth_twisted
THis is a really solid map. Great Great gameplay, i absolutly loved playing on this map. Very interesting arcitecture you have here, it really makes it a memorable map, and very unique. I did notice that at some point you will start to spawn in enemies spawn area, I shit myself when taht happened >_<.

I wish more servers had this map,, asi would play it much much more often than most other maps. This is Simple, Clean and Basic. A job well done man.

Maps > gg_triangularian
He he he this looks great! i like the 3d skybox, and your good use of geometry. this map is somewhat unique as in useing all colors instead of just one with different shades. it seems like it would play like any other GG map, so you wont be let down. I like the custom colors on the little boxes. thats great man. this is definally worth downloading and playing.

Improvements might be add another level. looks like you go from storie one to storie three. maybe put doorways thorugh the triangles for more dynamic expeirences.

this is a nice fresh good start. very solid foundation. i owuld definally consider adding more to this.

o one more ting before i forget. try some texture lighting on the edges of the triangels and the surrounding walls. that would look like sucha cool effect. like having a rainbow alll around, =P.

Maps > dm_cthulhu
Pros: This should show that mapping is a form of art. You dont need to know the story of what happneed here ahead of time to see how everything in this has unfolded, you can manifest your own story while looking. You missed not one opportunity to put MORE detail into this. The lighting is PHENOMINAL. aboslutly brilliant lights. makes this map truly complete. This looks like a temple lost to time, abandoned when almost finished then looks like it started to have its problems, and the poeple couldnt keep up. heh (my try at what could have happened) Deserves greatest maps of all time list, for its looks mainly. the freeformed structure of this map wows me. it looks like every peice of the map is unique and i would not find anything in another spot of it. Mad love goes to this map.
Cons: You say its not made for gameplay, so i have to take off a little bit for that. maps are made to play on. and sharing the expeirence with multiple is just so amazing. only the higher end computers will be able to do that.
Improvements: maybe tone it down for the poeple who's computers are not nearly as up to date with the top of the line stuff.
Notes: Amazing map. Creative, Unique, Original. Next to perfect. You really captured some attentin with this. it is so beautiful. amazing truly amazing work. months of effort really paid off. awesome man.

Maps > gg_heartcore
Pros: Instant Classic! (whatever that means). Texture lighting always looks cool, and this map puts it to some damn good use! And pretty Unique too. I Like how everything is pink. Its obviously heartcore! there is no doubt you know what map your playing when this comes on. The stairs are a cool touch, and the rotating boxs are pretty cool too! The 3D Skybox really makes this map noticeable. Its like a little city built on mars or something. Texture lighting is nothing new, but the pink is definally something great. The curved windows are excellasnt, you have made this a super well balanced map with straight lines and lots of curves.
Cons: I feel like if i play this map for more than 10 minutes, then look away everything will be green O.O (stare at a pink paper, look away and everything is green =O) The design of this is just like any other GG map, symetrical. I hate that, it cant get much more fair then that, but i love when maps are different on either side. it makes it a bit harder to predict movments and provides a bit more of a challenge. The easiest way to make a gg map is a symmetrical map.
Improvements: its gg, Symetrical is how its suppose to be. maybe try something like this with two different sides. its like you make it work, or it just doest =P risky, but can be worth it.
Notes: Lovely map! i bet a nice full server with this just must be insane and probably loads of fun. (but dont expect your eyes to readjust to a normal map so fast =P) hard work pays off man. excellant looking map. keep this with you. it could take you far =).

Maps > gg_factory
Pros: As soon as i looked at the lighting for this map my breathe was taken from me. holy cow the lighting is astounding!! This is a real work of art here. The effort in this looks like ti really paid off. The dustmost and the broken floor really put this over the top. the curved roof is a great touch, have not sen too many of those.
Cons: Once you get over the fact that the lughting is brilliantly done, you then see how the map looks without it. the only thing that really got me was the broken floor. tahts always something awesome and looks jsut so so so cool to me, when i see it in a map, it looks so awesome. I se alof of straight cut edges, and squares. but thats a factory right? =P
Improvements: Maybe some more curves, tiny curves. the archs are good, but some rooms feel very very square.
Notes: the lighting is just so brilliant. i cant wait to see the factory two. Keep this in a portfolio or something man. Youll go far with a map like this.

Maps > dod_bayeux
Pros: When tons of work go into a map, its noticable. If all you play is dev textured maps, then all of a sudden this one pops up, your mind would jsut blow out of your skull! The amout of little details, and big details really goes beyond what you should normally expect from an average map! The choices of textures are just perfect, i am from american and this to me looks like a german town for sure. (dont know wehre bayeux is) This has the essentails for a small town, such as the town square, castle doors, and the many houses and shops along the streets. Windows on every house. each house is unique in its own way too, which is very hard to accomplish when you design maps. This design is basically flawless.
Cons: From a war point of view, it looks like nobody has invaded this city yet, and civilians should still be living here. When lookig around, i sometimes feel this map is going to stab me, some of the edges are very sharp, and parts of it are made of squares. If this were a modern map it would make sense. The arcs give you the relief of knowing curves still exist =P.
Improvements: Curve little things you owuldnt suspect. starcase edges that are curved are definally a "wower". Things like this take time, and that might be somehting you may not have. not all of us do.
Last thing is a little more lighting. picture two looks epic but the colors really clash XP.

Notes: Beautiful map man. tthis is a work of art you should really treasure, it will DEFINALLY get you a job at any company wanting to hire for pretty much any FPS. (infinity ward would love you for like CoD7 WW2 stuff).

Maps > dod_jocund_b4
Pros: This is a strong map! 3d skybox, fog, and all the litle details that go with war! THat sewage water is great and i owuld hate to fall in that even in the game ugh!
The houses all have windows, some windows have the little roof things above them to deflect rain just like in any old town! Nice use of steps and extremely good use of displacements! Overall this map is damn damn good.
Cons: Some things i dont understand, like in the last two pictures, how did those holes get there?? did a cannon shoot through the window into the wall? doesnt make much sense >_< or even the floor, did someone hold a grenade to the floor and BAM hole cut with perfect edged wood framing still there!! lol. This map needs nothing taken away. just improved upon.
Improvements: Dustmotes will make this map perfect. near lights and places you want to look extra warm.
Add more holes to buildings to give it more war torn if that what your going for definally. the current ones need to make a bit more sense, but man they look damn beautiful as they are.
Notes: Excellant work on this map mate! i can tell this took some dedication and longs hours of your freetime to come up with a beautiful peice of work such as this. this map is great, but there is nothing that really "wows" me. i may find all of this in other well user created maps. Your skill is above most. great map!

Pros: When i think of the word "Mapping" i get the idea of creating your own world putting all your mind into it. bringing other players to your world. you control every aspect, you decided what it looks like.

This is a beaitiful work of art. i feel imerssed in this world you made. where i am this small guy in this giant castle lookin for baddies. i would rather aspire to look around and savior the pure beauty this map delivers. The design of thsi map is absolute genious! it combines all aspects of intense gaming choke points and large ares equally spread. The castle is falling apart, gives you the feeling that it is quite the old place! This excels in Ambience, Design, and out does looks. Sir your maps have always impressed me, and they never stop. 10/10 this is absoulty genious.

MiPs > Lost Bridge
Pros: next to perfect. a sone bridge wow. this is some real quality work that this software can really give. the fact that is it staone is a very very nice touch, you realy took it to the next level by putting in displacemtns AND adding a wood frame for support. this is not a simple bridge made with 6 brushes, this is a bridge you could seriously find in the woods like that.

THe wide open in the middle is awesome, and truly professional.


Cons: if i MUST put some =( more detail? if that is possible ha!
Improvements: only about the enviro u put it in, maybe a dusk/ sunset lighting, with water under it and a sun.
