Hello and welcome to my profile. I'm Daan. I recently played Half-Life 2 and was immediately loving it. I was not done with it after I finished it and was already interested in level design. Combined, they form my new passion: mapping. I've started with simple Counter-Strike maps, but am at the moment working on my very own solo single player mod called Complex (see my studios). After that I'll finish some projects I have still lying around unfinished. I'm still an amateur at mapping but I'm eager to learn and to fall & get back up. After I get a bit the hang of mapping and scripting I might try some texturing and modelling. I have great ambitions to join some (real) mod teams after I finish complex and start a real mapping career. You might think: "Career?" Yes, I'm thinking of continuing with this after my school. I really like it and I see myself working as a level designer later with great ambitions :)

Hey ty-guy that was a superlative assessment I appreciate your thought and words kind of makes all the work worth while. You know for personal reference from the video page on Xfire there are 15 or so other nav videos to look at just click see more by this person, remember that when you decide to nav your own.... thanx again M8
