Backstabbing people saying being gay doesn't bother them in real life, and then posting that they despise it here....and instead of supporting me, telling me I shouldn't have come out on this site....

When I first started coding in PHP, I really didn't use a framework....just all the main files in the main directory, with all of the config files in an "includes" folder, and that's mainly it....

...recently I have been using the MVC framework, which seperates all of your files into 3 different folders: models, view, and controller....in the models, all of the main classes and db info goes, all of the html into the view, and they are brought together in the controller, which is what the url is routed to.

I have been trying to find an even better form of this utnil I came about writing my own URL Routing system, which casts the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] into the strip() function to get rid of the slashes, and then put into an array, which is used in the URL routing system to get the controller, and "case" in the switch inside the controller to get the class, and function....

This is very useful, but for some reason, can become very in-depth with other features, and urls have to be writting in a certain way to express the function you want in the url....in my older scripts, if you viewed a thread, it would be "/thread/$id"...whereas in my new routing system it would have to be "/thread/show/$id" because I need to tell the controller I wnat to show a thread (same goes with editing, sticking, locking, and deleting).

I'm trying to code a newer, better url routing system that is more ogranized, specifically with include files listing included files to give me more organization....like organizing all of the classes that have to be included in 1 file, then including that in another include file that lists all of the files that are including other files lol .

I'm also having a time figuring out the admin class, or whether I should include the admin functions in their respectable classes (like forum admin in the forum class, category admin in the category class, banning in the user class, etc) or whether to have an admin class with those function in them.

Otherwise, I have been doing really well with PHP, specifically expanding my knowledge of Javascript a great deal...using it a lot in my newer scripts, and I've been trying to learn AJAX as well, which is a branch of Javascript that allows requests to the server without having to reload the entire script page.

All-in-all, I even got a job programming, which I'm really happy about....the only thing is that the person who hired me has a specific way of programming, and I'm not sure about all of his rules yet, so I get emails showing me what I did wrong lol.

When school starts, I will start learning Java and Visual Basic, which will be interesting ^^ .
