Someone should've made the mod which can lose the cops just like GTAIV.
You know what I mean, outrun, outmanuever, or outgun them.

NO THEY AREN'T!

You are simply INVENTING the meaning of RPG. In a RPG:

1) You usually (not fully needed) party with other characters.
2) Need to talk with some characters.
3) Increase your abilities by EXP points (ussualy)
4) Have a real deep history in a totally fictional world (with non-existant species).

Oh,and in case you think that I have invented that while I was writing, you can see a close description in sites like Wikipedia (CRPGs part)

I thought RPG was for role playing game. So this is definatly an rpg.

In GTA:SA you can recruit gang members and friends in order to do drive-by's in missions.

2) Need to talk with some characters.
You talk with MANY characters in GTA:SA.

3) Increase your abilities by EXP points (ussualy)
Not all the time and even so, in this game you can upgrade your stats by using your weapons more and running/working out.

4) Have a real deep history in a totally fictional world (with non-existant species).
No, not all RPG's need this.

You can now post at this page again. Both Xero and Tom have said that the GTA games are here to stay. I qoute Xero: "We can't do anything about it because it has become an important game owning to the amount of submissions that have been added for it lately." If you don't trust me send one of them a PM.

So what Gamespy,Gamestop,Gamespot...even IMDB doesn't matter?

You are taking the whole by the part. It is like saying that Guild Wars is a driving game because you can do Rollerbeatle Races, when it is an online RPG.

It doesn't really matter. How would it matter at all? The game is also an RPG. But the all the elemtents can be in an action of course. We call stalker an FPS, but it is more an RPG. Even Half-Life can be called an RPG.

Did you just make that up your self? Yes you did, now shut up. Seriosuly. Deal with it the gta games are RPGs. And you do gain "EXP" in SA. You gain respect weapon skills etc etc. I can't stand you anymore. I'll report you and disable posting for this page for now.

The game is set in the fictional state of San Andreas, comprising three metropolitan cities. Set in March 1992, San Andreas revolves around gang member Carl "CJ" Johnson returning home from Liberty City to Los Santos after learning of his mother's murder. CJ finds his family and his old friends and family in disarray. Over the course of the game, CJ gradually unravels the plot behind his mother's murder while exploring his own business ventures. Like other games in the series, San Andreas is composed of elements from driving games and third-person shooters, and features "open-world" gameplay that gives the player more control over their playing experience. The game adds several features, such as car customization, and character personalization.
