Posted by dys Yeah if you guys have noticed, their last 3 cd's have come out 5 years apart. Aenima in 1996, Lateralus in 2001, and 10,000 Days in 2006. They aren't like other bands who crank out music hoping to get it right. They take their time. They experience new things and after that's done they get back together and start working on it. I also saw in an interview a while ago that they go into the studio when they're 95% done with their work, and all they have to do is record the music and put it on a CD. It's a long process but it's worth the wait because you know that the final product will be the best that it could be. They take their time and make sure that nothing is amiss. Exactly my point man. Tool has always taken a lot of time to create a new album. They are always going for every song to be epic and for every song and album to have 5 different meanings and different stuff in them that makes them so deep and awesome. Have some faith in them guys. They won't be done until I see an official announcement from them that they are done.

Posted by Pathard Anyone know if Tool will be releasing a new album? My friend has told me that Tool.. and all their majesty might just be done, and moving on. I read on their site a few months ago, that while writing songs for 10,000 days, and after it's release they had start creating and writing songs for a new album. Following the Tool Trend, it'll be a few years before another CD comes out unfortunately.
